Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using www.dutchiseasy.com and its services. By using this website and its services you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
This website and all its content are owned by the rightful owner of www.dutchiseasy.com and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
No part of this website and all its content may be sold or reproduced in any form or by any means.
Although the content on www.dutchiseasy.com is as accurate as possible, the owner assumes no responsibility for any harm or inconvenience sustained by anyone visiting this website or using any content they provide. However, the owner is committed to correct mistakes as soon as it comes to their attention.
Payments are accepted by bank transfer (SEPA countries only) or by PayPal or Stripe.
Before taking lessons it is required to make a payment in advance by bank transfer or by PayPal or Stripe. If a payment is made by bank transfer but not yet received before the start of a lesson, proof of payment may be requested.
When transferring money by bank, Ronald does not accept provision fee or any additional fee charged by the bank. To his knowledge money transfers between SEPA countries (in the EU) are free of charge. Contact your bank for more information if needed.
When signing up for lessons during a discount season, you do not have to pay for the regular price after the discount season has ended, unless otherwise specified.
In general, you may request a refund for every lesson you have not yet taken. But please note the following terms:
First 3 Lessons
If you have paid for the First 3 Lessons, and you request a refund after taking at least one lesson, the price you have paid for it will then be divided by 3. So, for example, if you request a refund after taking one lesson, then you may receive 2/3rd of the price that you have paid for it.
If you have paid for the 5-Lesson Bundle, and you request a refund after taking at least one lesson, then every lesson that has been taken will be regarded as Single Lessons. In other words, if one or more lessons out of 5 have already been taking place, they will, after a requested refund, automatically be converted into the regular price for a Single Lesson. And that (total) amount (based on the price for Single Lessons at the time of making a purchase) will be deducted from the price that you have paid for a 5-Lesson Bundle.

No-show & Rescheduling
In case you want to reschedule an appointment, please inform Ronald at least 24 hours prior to the lesson. If you cancel/reschedule 24 hours or less prior to the lesson you will kindly be reminded that a No-Show-Cancellation Fee could be charged a next time. A No-Show-Cancellation Fee is equal to a one lesson fee.
During a No-Show, Ronald will wait at least 10 minutes and will send you a reminder via email. When you fail to show up, despite receiving a reminder during the lesson or not, a No-Show-Cancellation Fee will be charged, which is equal to a one lesson fee.
Connection & Audio
When there's a bad internet connection or the audio quality is poor, it is expected and desired that both Ronald and student will try to fix it in the best way possible. If it turns out that the internet connection or the audio quality cannot be improved, and neither you or Ronald can hear each other well enough, then the session will have to be rescheduled. After which investigation will be advised to find out the cause of the problem, to prevent this from happening again in future sessions.
It is highly recommended to setup Skype properly before the lesson.
These Terms of Service (and any further rules, polices, or guidelines incorporated by reference) shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands/Europe, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
Changes to these Terms Of Service
These Terms of Service may get updated from time to time. All changes will be posted on this page. If significant changes are made, you will be notified via email. That being said, you are advised to review these Terms of Service periodically for any changes.
If you do not agree to any of these Terms of Service or any changes made to them, it is adviced to discontinue the lessons.
Personal information provided via the contact form will be stored safely. This personal information or any additional information will not be used for marketing purposes or anything in that nature. Your information will never be sold to or shared with anyone else. Personal information can be removed upon request.
This website is hosted by a reputable hosting company and has appropriate security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that Ronald has saved.
But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While Ronald strives to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, he cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Rating service The rating service found on the homepage can only be used by students (after invitation) or by members of the Free Dutch Course. Students are kindly asked to make use of this service to rate Dutch is Easy's lessons and service.
